I just want a vibrate-only alarm. Why is this so hard???

As of 2025 I can no longer set the alarm on iOS 18 please fix when I set the alarm on this clock out the app crashes please fix for iOS 18 experience

Update: Following the creator’s notes, I can now set an alarm, turn one off, etc., just as it should be. However, I found the interface a bit confusing as you can see from my first review. There’s are a couple of other nits to pick. The description says you must have the Silent Mode off but I find it works just as well with the Silent Mode on. Also I can control the volume with the phones side buttons. And the Note icon is for the alarm sounds but the Sleep sounds button only show up when you set an alarm. I don’t see how to set a recurring alarm. .Formatting in this Review section is odd, so I will add this: Original Review follows: When I start the app I can see the “Note” icon on the lower left for about half-a-second, then it jumps to the setup page (to set an alarm, sounds, etc). However, nothing I tap on does anything except the Sleep part. An alarm is set for 7:00 AM but I can’t change that. The Cancel button does nothing. I have notifications on and volume set to not-the-lowest level. Sound switch is on. iPhone SE2, iOS 18.3.1.

I had high hopes for this alarm clock, but unfortunately, it’s been a huge disappointment. It works sometimes, but other times it just fails to go off—completely defeating the purpose of having an alarm clock in the first place. I’ve double-checked the settings, ensured the volume is up, and even tried different power sources, but it’s just not reliable.

Literally I had about 30% on my phone when I went to sleep, and my phone DIED in the middle of the night. That’s never happened before, and shouldn’t happen for an app that supposed to WAKE UP people! Don’t download this, it’s probably a crypto miner based on how much battery it steals.

I tested the alarm, and it all it did was vibrate once with a message telling me there was an alarm set. This is of no use.

For context, I have a muscle disease and fatigue is overwhelming. The old clock I had could be so aggravating if I was exhausted. This clock is so simple. It asks nothing of you, there’s no confusion. If just a simple clock is all you need then I can not recommend this one enough. It’s super reliable. And the alarm starts out low and will get louder and it has an easy snooze button to hit.

I get the ad you see when you set the timer, that's fine. But, when it's the first thing in the morning and I'm turning off my alarm, I don't want to see an ad

The alarm will work sometimes and not others. It seems to be random. I keep seeing that the phone cannot be in silent mode, dnd mode, etc. in my experience, this makes no difference. I put my phone on sleep mode allowing notifications from this app. The sound is on and up. Sometimes it goes off, sometimes it doesn’t. I can’t figure it out and it drives me crazy.

So sad this app had potential. Easy, simple, nice GUI, but NO Typical ALARM SOUND. I want a beep beep beep alarm. I don’t want to play music or hear frogs or crickets or waves in the friggin beach. I want an ALARM CLOCK, not an mp3 player. Why not incorporated the standard alarm clock sounds?

I love the sound effects I work 3rd shift it’s relaxing and helped me go to sleep. Thank you very kindly.

It appears that you have to change the setting every hour that you want to be woken up. What a pain.

Alarm has never gone off and I have woken up late everyday since using this app. The regular clock app on iPhone works every time with ought fail. This app has failed me every morning. The app also does not let you pick your own custom alarms that are on your phone. It also cancels your alarms. The app also says that it’s the easiest app to use but making an alarm the first time is confusing because their are no instructions and it’s not intuitive like the clock app on iPhone because this app does not tell you how to set the time you need. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Awesome features. So easy to use

Was talking to my boyfriend on the phone about sending money via a certain company and five minutes later when I open the alarm clock app to set my alarm for the morning, there is an ad within the alarm clock app for that certain money sending company! Yuck!! Delete!!

The instructions to set an alarm that are repeated over and over do not show up in this app. I give up.

Only for people get up at 7 in the morning; nobody else. Clock is force preset for 7am. This cannot be stopped or changed. Don’t get this

I am still using my old phone as my alarm clock because the simple alarm app is something I can’t find for my iPhone 14. I find this app to be needlessly confusing, and so I don’t trust it to wake me up. I will continue to look for a better app.

It says it’s easy to set the alarm. OK, we are the instructions? How do I set the alarm? Tutorial, there’s nothing to let you know where to push the button or what the alarm is going to sound like, I want to go to sleep. I want to set the alarm! Accidentally deleted my utilities alarm, clock, which worked perfectly well. Maybe there will be instructions in the morning. How fast can you read this review?

Sometimes it doesn’t go off. I have it set to music. Sometimes it will play the music, sometimes it just plays a chime. When it play chime it only does for about 5 seconds then it cancels itself. It doesn’t always snooze. It will say snoozing but doesn’t show the time left and never goes off again.

The babbling brook has a nice sound. A bit digital but nice. It’s a shame there are no other features with this app. I’ll be canceling if it doesn’t begin functioning like an alarm clock Just read a few reviews in the 3 star range. Confused why folks aren’t lower considering there problem is the app doesn’t alarm. Wow an alarm that doesn’t alarm. Gets a 3 out of 5.

Great app, easy to set clock and plays great, soothing sounds. Only issue I have is once alarm is set, I cannot change time. I cannot cancel alarm either! I have to delete app and reinstall it.

I liked the alarm clock and the sleep sounds but once the alarm was set, it would not allow it to be turned off or the time changed until the set time passed. Ended up having to delete it.

I love it

This alarm clock is just what I was looking for. The alarm is easy to set and the ads are in no way annoying! It’s just a banner at the bottom. I would like to suggest that the gradual wake feature stretch out a little longer, or be adjustable. Not a big deal, but it would be nice. Best alarm I have tried! I don’t need a monitor, I just want to wake up on time.

Of all the digital alarms I have used, this one is by far the best!

You are not able to set an alarm to take a nap on the current day you’re only options for alarm are “tomorrow“ this is an extremely stupid app and useless

I like it. Easy to use. Dependable. I wish I could send a dollar to the devs so I could get rid of the ads.

I enjoy listening to music before I fall asleep

There is no way to set or cancel the alarm. The only thing I can do is change the sleep sound. None of the other settings open.

I love this clock. Basic and works great. Only issue is even when you slide the brightness down all the way, the thin light at the bottom stays on all the time. I like utter darkness when o sleep.

This is a great alarm but missing two key features for me: -when you set the alarm, it needs to say how many hours the alarm is set for from know so that I know how many hours of sleep I’ll be getting. While you turn the clock dial to set the alarm, it should say below how many hours:min it is from now ad you turn the dial. Then after the alarm is set, it should be counting down the time until the alarm. -There should be customizable buttons that allow me to set how many hours from now I would like the alarm to go off, like quick links to set the alarm 8hs/ 7hrs from now. For these reasons I have to go look for a different alarm app.

This is a good alarm, but they need to update it so that you can adjust the volume after the alarm has been set. I have to go into another app just to insure that the volume is loud enough to wake me up.
